Your account has not been activated

After you register to use TitlePage your details will be verified to ensure that you are a bookseller or supplier who is actively trading with a major publisher, a library employee or an Australian publisher or distributor.

A TitlePage representative will contact you within 2 business days of receipt of your registration. On successful registration, your account will be activated and an email sent to you confirming the username and password for your organisation.

The time and date settings on your computer are incorrect

You may experience login difficulties if your computer is set to the incorrect time, date or time zone. These settings can sometimes be changed without your knowledge by background applications such as anti-viral/spyware software.

Select the operating system you are using from the list below for instructions on how to adjust time and settings.

Windows

  • Double-click on the clock on the bottom-right corner of your screen
  • Click on 'Date & Time'
  • Set date and time
  • Click on 'Time Zone'
  • Select time zone
  • Click OK

Macintosh

  • Select 'Control Panels' from the Apple Menu
  • Select 'Date & Time'
  • Click on 'Current Date'
  • Set date
  • Click on 'Current Time'
  • Set time
  • Click on "Select Time Zone"
  • Select relevant time zone
  • Click Ok
  • Close window

Your username and/or password were typed incorrectly

You need to ensure your username and password are entered exactly the way they were when you registered. Please check:

  • the correct case is being used
  • there are no spaces before or after the username or password
  • the username and password are being spelled correctly

To have an email sent to you confirming your username and password go to www.titlepage.com.au/sendpwd.php.

Cookies have not been enabled on your computer

TitlePage uses cookies to allow you to login quickly and to keep track of your user session. To use the site they must enabled in your browser. Select the browser version you are using from the list below for instructions on how to enable cookies.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+

  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu
  • Click on the "Privacy" tab
  • Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings"
  • Click "OK"

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x

  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu
  • Click on the "Security" tab
  • Click the "Custom Level" button
  • Scroll down to the "Cookies" section
  • To enable:
    • Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable"
    • Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable"
  • Click "OK"

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x

  • Select "Internet Options" from the View menu
  • Click on the "Advanced" tab
  • Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section
  • To enable:
    • Select "Always accept cookies"
  • Click "OK"

Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)

  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Select "Options"
  • Select the "Privacy" icon in the left pane
  • Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies"
  • Click "OK" to save changes

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0

  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu
  • Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand
  • Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies"
  • Select "Enable all cookies"
  • Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 4.x

  • Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu
  • Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category
  • To enable:
  • Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies")
  • Click "OK"

JavaScript has not been enabled on your computer

JavaScript needs to be enabled in your browser in order to login to TitlePage. Select the browser version you are using from the list below for instructions on how to enable JavaScript.

Internet Explorer

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Security' tab
  • Click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll down until you see section labelled 'Scripting'
  • Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK

Netscape Navigator

  • Select 'Edit' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Preferences'
  • Choose 'Advanced'
  • Choose 'Scripts & Plugins'
  • Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click OK

Mozilla Firefox

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Options'
  • Choose 'Web Features' from the left navigation
  • Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK
